We started this exciting development in August 2022 and it was complete in the spring of 2023.

The client had purchased this wonderful piece of land with historic Oaks in it, so it was essential that we kept the traditional feel of the land whilst turning it into an efficient private yard.

Together with the clients ‘ideals’ and Neil’s project management we were able to create an end product that ticked all the boxes. A large 60 x 30 outdoor arena with a full short side of mirrors for dressage training, 7 of the 10 stables have easily accessible outdoor corrals, providing freedom of movement for the horses whether they choose to be inside or outside.

The American barn layout means that everything is housed under one roof. With this in mind we made sure to allow for as much natural light and air flow as possible. The arrangement of the stables, wash down, feed and tack rooms were totally bespoke to meet the clients needs. Plus the addition of the not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional entrance porch finished the barn off in style.

A horse walker with roof and lights, storage barns for both hay and the horsebox with an electric roller shutter door and beautiful lamped driveway with an electric gate were the finishing touches. Pegasus dealt with all the planning applications and matters arising on this project.
